Cherry - Liquorice - Pepper

Silky body with medium tannins and lovely acidity. This burst with dark fruits cherry & liquorice with a peppery finish. 

This has had a touch of sulphur additions at bottling.


Purulio Tinto is a mixture from the two plots and gives an interesting balance of the two terroirs. This is a field blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Tempranillo, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, Petit Verdot and Garnacha, all vinified together; de-stemmed with 5-7 days maceration and direct to press. Aged for one year in French oak barrique


Try this with Sparkenhoe Red Leicester or have it with lamb stew especially if cooked with dark fruits.
