Chateau d'Ollieres Coteaux Varois en Provence Rosé
REGION : Provence, France
GRAPE: Cinsault, Grenache Noir, Syrah
Fresh - Dry - Spicy
Pours a very pale pink, red fruits, zingy - this is what a Provencal Rose is all about. It's dry and spicy rose is wonderfully fresh and full of flavour.
Château d'Ollières is made up of Hubert Rouy and his son Charles. The duo embarked on an ambitious renovation of the Château d'Ollières in 2003.
Based in the heart of Provence, vineyards at these higher altitudes are cooler so the grapes benefit from longer, slower ripening, giving the finished wines good acidity, complex flavors and structure.
Goes well with Lingot des Causses - a goat's cheese from the mid pyrenees.
